Windows 7 Professional SP1 32bit (OEM) System Builder DVD 1 Pack (New Packaging)

Having an older 17" HP laptop with XP, I wasn't sure if this would work or not. All indications were that it would, so I took the chance and ordered it. I made sure I backed up my files first and then did a full install which is normally what is recommended. It loaded without a hitch. I couldn't be more pleased. Problems I was having previously, mostly with the amount of time it took to perform an operation or boot up are gone. Much faster now! I would recommend that once loaded that you find your device under Control Panel or from the Start button and see if any problems were detected. I only had one and that was a Mass Storage driver. Windows found the update and everything was good from there on. Oh one other thing I ran into was with the touchpad. I still don't understand why I wasn't having the problem before, but after some research, found out what was causing the problem. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop and was having a problem with the cursor jumping around when I would type. All of a sudden I would be typing in an entirely different area. The problem was the sensitivity of the touchpad as my hand moved over it.
